
Lon brings a wealth of experience to CalVideo. As a working member of the International Photographers of the Motion Picture Cameraman's Union for 10 years, Lon worked as an assistant cameraman on various Feature Films, Movies of the Week and Sports Events for Columbia Pictures, ABC-TV, and ESPN, among others. To round out his background, Lon was a business liaison for FilmDallas Pictures in Los Angeles in their Business and Legal Department working with FilmDallas to coordinate their varied film projects with partner New World Pictures. Lon founded CalVideo in 1994, and since that time, has filmed numerous commercials, corporate videos, and literally hundreds of weddings and other special events. Lon includes his cinematic approach and feel along with big production values in everything he works on.

Perris's first album "Still Be Friends" used musicians from Ray Charles, The Righteous Brothers, the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra, bass legend John Patitucci, and the Aretha Franklin back-up singers. Perris has produced and arranged for Gwen and Berry Gordy Jr. of Motown Records, NBC, CBS, and HBO to name a few. In 1995, Perris played keyboards for The Centurions, and he received a Platinum Sales Award for Soundtrack of the Year for their song "Bullwinkle Part II" in the award-winning movie "Pulp Fiction", and has produced and written music on the upcoming 2008 feature "Chinaman's Chance".
Perris is masterful at customizing music soundtracks for a myriad of independent productions from Time Warner Cable, AM 570 Sportstalk radio to many Special Event productions.
